Appointments are currently available for new patients. This practice is exclusively telepsychiatry-based, designed to provide high-quality, confidential psychiatric care from the privacy of a patient’s home or any secure location. Patients must be located in New Jersey or New York at the time of the session and have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection.
The practice is tailored to adults who may benefit from medication management, psychotherapy, or both in a setting that prioritizes privacy, collaboration, and personalized care.
Non-emergent psychiatric conditions treated include:
- Depression and mood instability
- Anxiety disorders and stress-related conditions
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Adjustment disorders and life transitions
- Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Wellness and performance optimization through integrative psychiatry
A biopsychosocial framework is used, examining biological, psychological, relational, and lifestyle factors contributing to mental health. Based on this holistic approach, treatment recommendations may include:
- Medications
- Psychotherapy
- Nutritional support
- Sleep hygiene
- Exercise and movement
- Mindfulness and meditation
- Light therapy
- Targeted supplements
With patient consent, collaboration with primary care providers, therapists, or other health professionals is available to support continuity and comprehensive care.
Important Practice Limitations
While telepsychiatry is effective for many patients, this practice does not provide care for:
- Substance use disorders
- Major psychotic disorders or schizophrenia
- Bipolar disorder with manic episodes
- Dementia or significant cognitive decline
- Acute psychiatric emergencies or suicidal crises
- Situations requiring 24/7 crisis support or hospitalization
Urgent psychiatric care is not provided. For these needs, patients should seek help through a hospital-based program or community mental health clinic.
Medication Policy
In compliance with New Jersey Telemedicine Law and the Ryan Haight Act, this practice does not prescribe:
- Schedule II controlled substances, including: Adderall, Ritalin, Concerta, Vyvanse
- Benzodiazepines or sedative-hypnotics, including: Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium
- Narcotic medications or any DEA-regulated controlled substances
If these medications are part of a treatment plan, care should be sought through a provider offering in-person or integrated services.
Fees
This is an out-of-network, fee-for-service practice. All visits are self-pay. A detailed receipt (Superbill) is provided for possible insurance reimbursement. Fees are charged at the end of each visit to the credit card on file.
Initial Evaluation
Comprehensive Integrative Psychiatric Assessment
75 to 90 minutes – $450
A full diagnostic intake exploring emotional, cognitive, behavioral, medical, and relational health. Includes post-session documentation and a personalized, whole-person treatment plan.
Follow-Up Visits
Focused Medication or Check-In Session
15 to 25 minutes – $175
Full Psychotherapy / Integrative Treatment Session
60 minutes – $300
Consultative Evaluation (Second Opinion)
75 to 90 minutes – $450
Medication Refill Policy
If a scheduled appointment is missed or canceled and a standalone refill is required for continuity of care, a $75 administrative fee will be charged.
Insurance & Billing
This practice does not participate in any insurance plans or Medicare. A Superbill is provided for possible reimbursement if out-of-network benefits apply. Patients are encouraged to confirm coverage before scheduling. Most insurers will cover labs and medications ordered.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
A minimum of 24-hour notice is required for any appointment changes. Full fees apply for missed appointments.
Privacy and Confidentiality
All patient records and the fact of receiving care are strictly confidential. Written authorization is required to release medical records. Exceptions apply in cases involving safety risks (such as danger to self or others, or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult), as required by law.
